A highlights film for Golf Tourism England, introducing tour operators to the beautiful North Devon coast, its championship links and the convention that brings golf tourism’s buyers and sellers together

The briefOne film, four jobs
Golf Tourism England’s annual convention brings the buyers and sellers of golf travel together - tour operators from around the world, face to face with England’s golf clubs, resorts, hotels and destinations.
For 2026, Andrew Cooke and the GTE team wanted a film that would keep working long after the event. It needed to:
- Introduce tour operators to North Devon, a beautiful and often overlooked part of England for golf, with Saunton Sands Hotel and Saunton Golf Club at its heart
- Show the work Golf Tourism England does for its members
- Capture the energy of the convention itself
- Provide genuine third-party endorsement, with the buyers and sellers in the room telling the story in their own words

We filmed across both days: the “speed dating” sessions, where tour operators sit down with clubs, resorts and destinations for back-to-back appointments; the seminar programme; golf on Saunton’s championship links; and the social moments in between, all set against the sweep of Saunton Sands.
What we did
- Filmed by Josh Tucker, including aerial drone footage of Saunton Sands, the hotel and the championship links against the North Devon coastline
- Coverage of the speed dating sessions, seminars and social programme
- Golf on Saunton’s East Course
- On-camera interviews with GTE’s CEO and with delegates, providing genuine third-party endorsement
- Editing, music and a closing call to action for the 2027 convention at Formby Hall
- Short clips cut for social media

The resultA film that keeps selling
The finished film puts the area, the organisation and the event side by side, with delegates rather than the organiser doing the endorsing. It now features on Golf Tourism England’s 7th GTE Convention 2026 at Saunton Sands page and its convention round-up, and is helping to promote the 2027 convention at Formby Hall.
The best endorsement doesn’t come from the organiser. It comes from the people in the room.
