Having explored Marrakech and Agadir in the past, I was thrilled to receive an invitation to play in the Hassan II Trophy Pro-Am at Royal Dar es Salam Golf Club. The trip would also take me through Rabat and Tangier – two cities I’d been eager to visit.

Aloha Golf Club in Nueva Andalucia on the Costa d’el Sol opened for play in 1975, and before Valderama, Finca Cortesin, Sotogrande, and La Reserva all emerged as excellent courses, Aloha, along with neighbouring Las Brisas, was the place to be.

Every now and then GTE gets the opportunity to visit a new golf course, resort or development, and it is always an interesting and educational experience hearing about the vision and the strategy to attract visitors or members.
